CBSE tuitions in Mumbai – Result analysis for CBSE 2017 results

Before you start looking for CBSE tuitions or coaching classes, it is important to know CBSE 2017 results are declared for the exams held between 9th March – 29th April 2017.We, at Uniqorn Home Tuitions, analyzed & found some intresting statistics about the results declared.

1. Total students registered for examination vs. Total students appeared vs. Total students passed:

Out of number of students appeared for CBSE exams vs. number of students passed in year 2017 we could easily see the percentage of stuents passing in CBSE board exams is 82.02%.There was a drop 1.03% from last year’s CBSE Students passing rate.  It is speculated that the checking for year 2017-18 was tough which resulted in the drop of 1.03% passing rate.

 2. Overall Girls vs. Boys Results 

Only 78% boys passed as compared to 87.50% girls who cleared the exam.

3. High flying students : 90% and above

Total of 63,247 students scored 90% or above. Number of students scoring 95% or above was 10,091. This is very good news for cbse students of year 2018-19. The new CBSE exam pattern too has 2 exam terms, but the written exam weightage will be now ninty percent, including eighty marks of the semi yearly or yearly exam and 10 marks of the 20 marks set aside for periodic assessment in each term.
4. Top 3 Students
Top 3 Students of CBSE 2017 exams are-
   A. Raksha Gopal (Delhi) with 498 marks
   B. Bhoomi Samant (Chandigarh) with 497 marks
   C. Aditya Jain & Mannat Lithia  (Chandigarh)  both with 496 marks
